You already know we were fans of Omar’s energetic style from the jump. March 15th sees the release of the Zoom Omar Salazar SB, and boy are we fan of those too. We got our sweaty paws on an advance pair at Lockwood skateshop. The touchy feely looky verdict? They feel pretty stiff and are going to need quite the breaking in. But after your griptape has tamed them you get some nifty yet subtle tech features and great looks: A bit like the bastard offspring of a love triangle between a Half-Cab, the Nike’s Kyle Reese wore in The Terminator and something an FWAstronaut would wear playing ball on the Moon. Did we mention the purple lining yet? If we’d have FWA uniforms, these would be standard issue.
