FWA in SCS

There’s a three page FWA feature appearing in the new issue of SCSMAG and yes, we’re very proud. Chris (who writes for SCS) did the hook-up. Basically it’s an interview he and I did before he decided to jump on board of the FWA mothership as its co-pilot. Be sure to get your copy if you want to catch up on some FWActs and FWAntasy behind all this weirdo SF new age stuff that inspired the tees. The magazine is published in NL/FR and can be found (for free!) in your local skate- and/or snow shop. They should be in store this weekend. More info here: http://www.scsmag.be

FWAcebook

Social networking on this technocratic soultrap called the internet sort of gives us the willies. It’s a black void that can devour you wholly while the sun is shining outside. But we got to roll with the times. In this information age, sending smoke signals at each other would be kind of retarded. And we haven’t got that telepathic messaging lobe fully tuned just yet either. Facebook it is then. Fifth World Adepts, join the cult here. I guess a Flyspace page will follow suit once we got more important stuff out of the milky way.

Paintagon

Young FWApprentice Dennis Kestelle pointed me to these paintings by Danish artist Sören Hüttel. Pretty interesting pieces if you’re into the kind of art that adorns the waiting rooms of New Age witch doctors.

Winged Willem joins the flock

About the same time last year I was playing around with the idea of starting up this tee brand and *ZAP* before I could spell out ‘Fifth World Ascension’ in full a year has passed and we’re endorsing our first rider. For real.

We are very proud to announce Willem Vleugels AKA Willy Crank (or Winged Willem as we like to call him ourselves) as the first rider on a FWA skate team of sorts. This starchild has got all the right moves and zaps out kickflips with Cylon-like precision. Make sure you set up your telescopes for spotting this unidentified flying object rocking our brand in a space sector near you.

At FWA, we all hope Willem’s skateboard will become an Ark that will lead a new generation of Indigo Children to the Fifth World. Welcome on board, flyboy.

Size does anti-matter

I don’t know whether we should be elated or not, but save for a one or two pieces in the shops we’re all out of medium sized tees. Sold out. Gone. Vanished. Went elsewhere. Stuck to someone’s soggy armpits at your local skatepark, or sucking up space in some hipster’s wardrobe cabinet. Chris already had to turn down some orders and that kind of sucks, but at the same time I’m really glad FWA is taking flight. All you Fifth World Adepts hang in there for a few months, the new collection should arrive around sometime June.
